Opening hours and contact information
Chalmers Library is a public library open to everyone during staffed opening hours. Students and staff at Chalmers also have access to the premises outside staffed hours. Below, you will find both opening hours and contact details for our libraries.
Main Library
The information desk is staffed:
Monday-Friday 9-20
Holders of Chalmers' access cards will not be able to enter the building outside of library hours during HT26 due to the ongoing building works.
Student librarians staff the desk from 16-20.

Unstaffed opening hours - enter with access card*:
Monday-Thursday 7-10 and 16-22, Friday 7-10 and 13-22
*Chalmers’ access card for staff or students is needed to enter the library during the unstaffed opening hours.

*The library is located within House A, so a Chalmers’ access card for staff or students is needed to enter the library during the afternoon and evening. The doors to the library remain open until 10pm.

Mathematics library
The Mathematics Library is a research library for mathematics, mathematical statistics and numerical analysis located on the ground floor of the MV building.
