Borrowing period

Our loan types are designed based on the idea that a popular book should be able to be used by several people as efficiently as possible.

Loan type - "Standard loan 14-90 days"

You are guaranteed a loan period of 14 days when borrowing a book. If nobody else requests the book, then you can keep it for up to 90 days without needing to renew your loan. You may then renew the book for an additional 90 days.

If another borrower request the same book after your guaranteed 14 days have passed, the library will send you an email notifying you of the new, shorter return date. You must then be able to return the book to the library at short notice - within 3 days.

If there is no existing queue for the book, your loan receipt will show a preliminary return date in 90 days, but if there is already a queue for the book then your receipt will show a return date in 14 days.

Other types of loans - what and how can I borrow?
