Scopus is recommended by Chalmers Library because it is one of largest and most important scientific article databases. Scopus is used by Chalmers to track publication performance and research collaborations.
The citation index allows you to identify which later articles have cited any particular earlier article, or cited the articles of any particular author, or determine which articles have been cited most frequently.
As a registered user you can access SciVal, an analysing tool for Scopus publication data. SciVal provides an in-depth overview of the research performance of different institutions based on publications, citations and collaborations, more than 8,000 institutions around the world are included.
