Academic writing and presentation skills
Chalmers writing Centre offers writing tutorials to all students. You can book 45 minute tutorials with a writing tutor for yourself or your group where you can discuss texts, presentations or other writing related questions.
During the tutorial you can get help with the following:
Plan your writing process and make a start on your writing.
Understand your target audience and the context of your assignment.
Employ active reading as a part of your writing.
Edit your work in terms of ideas, structure, format and clarity.
Understand the criteria for the genre and communication strategies.
Presentation skills
You can also get help preparing and practicing for oral presentations. As with the writing we focus on:
Presenting material with the audience in mind.
Use different tools and strategies for effective communication.
Clarify what to expect from your presentation.
