Printing and scanning
Printing from the library computers
There are computers for Chalmers students to use at the library, and these are connected to the library's selection of printers. It is possible to print in colour and a selection of formats up to A3.
It is not possible for members of the public to print out items at our libraries.
Printing from your own computer
If you are a Chalmers student you can also connect your own computer to our printing system. Complete information, instructions and technical help can be found on the Service Portal, log in with Chalmers ID necessary:

Scanning
If you need to copy a document, use the "scan to email" function on the library's colour printers, then print out the scanned document. There is no fee for scanning documents.
Prices for printouts
Prices are shown as the amount of printer quotas (pq) per printout.
A4 Colour: 1.83 pq/page
A4 Black & white: 0.83 pq/page
A3 Colour: 3.66 pq/page

How much can I scan in from printed journals and books?
According to the Copyright Law for literature and artistic works, as a private individual you may copy/scan in a few pages of literature and journals. It is permitted to use a small portion of a book or journal for individual use.
Copying for teaching purposes is covered by the University Agreement with Bonus Copyright Access.
