You can use the tools Libkey and Browzine to help you find PDF-files and scientific articles more easily, as well as reading and monitoring content in scientific journals.
Monitor and read e-journals
Browzine is a tool which allows you to keep yourself up-to-date on the contents of scientific journals. You can discover, read and monitor scientific journals within your subject. All of the journals Chalmers subscribes to are collected together here.
You can:
browse or search amongst the scientific e-journals
save jour favourite publications on your bookshelf
access PDFs with one click
save and export citations to different reference management programmes like Endnote, Mendeley and Zotero
save articles and read them later, even offline
Apart from looking for journals and reading articles, you can also follow the journals you are interested in and get notified of new issues.
Browzine is available directly on the web or as an app which you can download to your mobile device. Choose "Chalmers University of Technology" from the list of available institutions to connect directly to our e-journal subscriptions.
Find PDF files with browser plug-in
Libkey Nomad is a browser plug-in which automatically checks which articles Chalmers has access to, as well as finding open access articles. You can use the plug-in to navigate easily to PDF files from results lists and article pages. You do not need to be logged in beforehand, you can use your Chalmers ID (CID) if you need to log in later.
You can use it even if you start your search on the open web (e.g. Google Scholar) without starting at the library website.
