OpenAIRE is a network of Open Access repositories, archives and journals that support Open Access policies. It goes beyond the traditional publications aggregator by interconnecting entities related to scholarly communication: publications, research data, funding, people, organizations and data sources.OpenAIRE has started out as a policy support mechanism for the European Commission with the aim to be the European scholarly communication hub providing its services to many European funders.
